چکیده

This article focuses on the agronomic evaluation of supplementation mineral NPKMg fertilizers with elemental sulfur, magnesium, potassium, or ammonium sulfates in pot experiments ryegrass growing a sandy Arenosol very low sulfur content. A benefit was carried out basis biomass production, crop nutritional status, and changes content soil organic matter fractions. Furthermore, total number bacteria, nitrogen-fixing fungi estimated using qPCR technique samples after 60 days growth. The combined application sulfate significantly increased summary yield three cuttings fresh range 32.3% to 82.7%. application, especially form sulfates, decreased free phenolic acids. compared control, i.e., applied alone, an increase glomalin-related proteins decrease amount water-soluble carbon compounds were observed. Neither DNA marker copy numbers bacterial community nor bacteria noticeably different. In turn, genetic markers for higher soils potassium control soil. general results suggest that fertilizer can crops support fertility due stabilization aggregates compounds.

Olivine Weathering in Soil, and Its Effects on Growth and Nutrient Uptake in Ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.): A Pot Experiment

Mineral carbonation of basic silicate minerals regulates atmospheric CO(2) on geological time scales by locking up carbon. Mining and spreading onto the earth's surface of fast-weathering silicates, such as olivine, has been proposed to speed up this natural CO(2) sequestration ('enhanced weathering'). While agriculture may offer an existing infrastructure, weathering rate and impacts on soil a...

ACREMONIUM-ENDOPHYTES OF PERENNIAL RYEGRASS (Lolium perenne) IN FRANCE

13-17 ABSTRACT Infection with endophytic fungi (Acremonium spp.) was detected in seeds of wild populations of perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne) collected in France by private breeding companies and INRA. In total, 262 populations were examined and 70% contained Acremonium. It is worth noticing that most populations are endophyte infected but generally endophyte infection rates per population ...

Complete Chloroplast Genome Sequence of a Major Allogamous Forage Species, Perennial Ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.)

Lolium perenne L. (perennial ryegrass) is globally one of the most important forage and grassland crops. We sequenced the chloroplast (cp) genome of Lolium perenne cultivar Cashel. The L. perenne cp genome is 135 282 bp with a typical quadripartite structure. It contains genes for 76 unique proteins, 30 tRNAs and four rRNAs. As in other grasses, the genes accD, ycf1 and ycf2 are absent. The gen...

Haploid and Doubled Haploid Techniques in Perennial Ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.) to Advance Research and Breeding

The importance of haploid and doubled haploid (DH) techniques for basic and applied research, as well as to improve the speed of genetic gain when applied in breeding programs, cannot be overstated. They have become routine tools in several major crop species, such as maize (Zea mays L.), wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), and barley (Hordeum vulgare L.). DH techniques in perennial ryegrass (Lolium ...
